Is Windows 11 more secure than Windows 10?
Windows 11 has stricter hardware requirements, like TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot.
Do these actually make a big difference in security compared to Windows 10?

Yes, Windows 11 is more secure because Microsoft made features like TPM 2.0and Secure Boot mandatory. These help protect against low-level malware and keep passwords and encryption keys safer.
Windows 10 can support some of these features too, but they were not always enabled by default, so Windows 11 has a stronger security foundation out of the box.
More so, Windows 10 reached the end of life in October 2025 and no longer receives security updates unless you enroll in the Windows 10 Extended Security Updates | Microsoft Windows(ESU) program, which helps keep your device secure.
