  • What are the minimum system requirements for Windows 11?

    I am trying to upgrade to Windows 11 and I want to be sure my PC actually meets the official hardware requirements (RAM, CPU, TPM, storage, etc.). There’s a lot of conflicting info around, so I’d like to know the current official specs, especially for the latest 24H2 version.

    To upgrade to Windows 11 (24H2), your PC needs to meet key requirements:

    1. CPU: 1 GHz or faster, 2 or more cores, 64-bit
    2. RAM: at least 4 GB
    3. Storage: at least 64 GB
    4. Firmware: UEFI with Secure Boot turned on
    5. TPM: version 2.0
    6. Graphics: DirectX 12 compatible with a WDDM 2.0 driver
    7. Display: 720p or higher

    Have this in mind: some older processors might not be officially supported, so make sure TPM and Secure Boot are enabled in your BIOS to avoid issues.
