Job Duties

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based systems. The ideal candidate is passionate about cloud technologies, possesses strong problem-solving skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

This position requires in-depth knowledge and understanding of various areas of specialization, principles, and practices within Cloud implementation. A Cloud Engineer addresses system incidents and issues using a wide variety of tools and techniques to determine the root cause and make Cloud implementation more resilient and stable. A Cloud Engineer may be involved in a wide range of projects that require clarity of thought, building on experience, and working with a team.

Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions to support the company's applications and services.
Collaborate with software developers and administrators to ensure seamless integration of cloud services into existing infrastructure.
Implement and maintain cloud security measures, including access controls, encryption, and monitoring, to protect sensitive data and comply with industry regulations.
Optimize cloud infrastructure performance and cost-effectiveness through continuous monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning.
Automate repetitive tasks and streamline deployment processes using configuration management tools and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum uptime for critical services.
Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and best practices, and evaluate their potential impact on the company's infrastructure strategy.

Qualification and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2-4 years of experience in Linux administration, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or related disciplines.
Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS.
Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Ruby, Bash, etc.
Strong knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security controls in cloud environments.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) are highly desirable.
