IT Support Specialist

As an IT Support Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for technical issues, supporting both hardware and software systems, troubleshooting, and ensuring seamless technology experiences for our team. You will work closely with the IT team to maintain infrastructure and improve workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to employees across hardware, software, and network issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows, MacOS, and common applications.
Assist with onboarding/offboarding of employees, including account setup and permissions.
Assist in setting up and maintaining company devices, accounts, and remote work tools.
Monitor and maintain IT systems, including network, servers, and cloud-based applications.
Support software updates, system backups, and basic cybersecurity practices.
Support automation tools (e.g., Make/Integromat) and SaaS integrations where needed.
Maintain IT documentation, guides, and knowledge base.
Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary.
Requirements
As a minimum, we expect candidates to meet the following requirements:
Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role in any industry
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or any related field
Experience supporting Windows and MacOS environments.
Knowledge of common IT troubleshooting methods for hardware, software, and network issues.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 suite (Teams, OneDrive, OneNote) and Microsoft Admin Center.
Exposure to cloud platforms and tools such as Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-Haves:
Basic JavaScript or scripting knowledge.
Experience with Postman, Twilio, or database tools (DBeaver, MySQL, Postgres).
Experience in workflow automation using Make (formerly Integromat).
