Junior Systems Admin

As part of the DevOps team, you will support day‑to‑day IT operations, assist with AWS cloud infrastructure, and provide end‑user support while learning best practices in system administration, automation, and cloud operations.
Requirements
Support the DevOps team in maintaining and enhancing internal IT systems and cloud infrastructure hosted in AWS.
Provide end‑user IT support, including onboarding and offboarding users, troubleshooting access issues, and maintaining IT inventory.
Assist with monitoring AWS infrastructure to help ensure system reliability, performance, and availability.
Support internal tools and platforms used across the organization (desktop and web‑based).
Help identify opportunities to improve IT processes and operational efficiency.
Assist with basic automation tasks and scripts using tools such as Jenkins or Ansible, under guidance from senior team members.
Collaborate with the DevOps team to support development and release processes across distributed systems.
Document processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to support knowledge sharing within the team.

Skills Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
1–3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related role.
Basic understanding of networking concepts and operating systems.
Familiarity with Microsoft O365 administration.
Foundational knowledge of Active Directory concepts.
Exposure to endpoint security tools (e.g., CrowdStrike, Bitdefender) is a plus.
Basic understanding of AWS services such as EC2 and S3; hands‑on experience is a plus.
Exposure to automation tools, scripting, or CI/CD concepts (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible) is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with MS Intune or device management tools.
Preferred
AWS certification (or working toward one).
Basic scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, or similar).
